A static website generates HTML at build time rather than on each request. This means the server delivers a pre-built file directly from a CDN cache — the closest possible server to the visitor, with no database queries, no PHP execution, no waiting for a response.

Core Web Vitals scores for static sites are consistently excellent. Time to First Byte (TTFB) is measured in single-digit milliseconds when content is served from a CDN edge node. For sites where SEO performance matters, this is a genuine competitive advantage.

Connect your GitHub or GitLab repository. Every push to your main branch triggers a build and deployment. Merges to feature branches get preview deployments at a unique URL. Rollbacks to any previous build take seconds.

We support all major static site generators and JavaScript frameworks that produce static output: Next.js (static export or standalone), Gatsby, Astro, Hugo, Jekyll, Eleventy, and standard HTML/CSS/JS. If your build command produces an output directory, we can host it.

Every static site we host is distributed through Cloudflare's CDN — 300+ edge locations serving content from the node closest to the visitor. Most of the world gets served in under 20ms. This isn't a premium add-on tier; it's included with every plan because it's the right way to host static content.
