Installation
Up and running in under 5 minutes. No admin rights required.
Download and Extract
Click the download button above. Once downloaded, right-click the zip file and select Extract All. You can extract it anywhere — for example: C:\Program Files\iRacing Paint Cleaner\
Unblock the Script
Windows blocks scripts downloaded from the internet by default. Find iRacing-Paint-Cleaner.ps1 in the extracted folder, right-click it → Properties. At the bottom of the General tab, check the Unblock checkbox and click OK. This step is required — skipping it will cause the app to fail silently.
Launch the App
Double-click Launch.bat. If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning, click More info then Run anyway. This is expected for new software that hasn't built up a reputation with Microsoft yet.
Activate Your License
On first launch, an activation screen appears. Paste the license key from your purchase confirmation email and click Activate. Your key is locked to this machine after activation.
Clean Your Paint Files
After activation the main app opens. Your iRacing paint folder is detected automatically. Click Scan Folder to preview what will be deleted, then Clean Paint Files to remove them.
